Refund of deposit
- No claim to money deposited by a borrower will be entertained unless the borrower’s ticket/s and the receipt for the deposit is produced duly receipted on its back. If the ticket is lost, a sum ofRs.lO/- each will be payable by him / her.
- In case the original deposit receipt granted to a depositor is lost, the money will not be refund unless the identity of the depositor is established to the entire satisfaction on the Librarian.
- In case the balance, If any, left after making the deduction, is not clamed within one year from the date on which book were lent out, the whole amount of the balance shall be regarded as forfeiture of the borrower provided that such forfeiture shall not take effect without notice three months before the expiry of the said period. The balance of the amount unclaimed under this rule shall remain in deposit account of the Library.
- A week’s notice must be given before a deposit is withdrawn.
